| Philip Corson Sievert was born November 24, 1944. He metamorphosed as into Henry Humble at Santa Cruz, California, where after a commercial art education and professional cartoon experience, he was seized by a frenzy that kept him painting and drawing a round-the-clock. From this blur of activity his animated film "Your autobiography", and the foundation of the Balloon Newspaper. Since 1968 he has continued creating the Balloon, and has contributed to the Coo Coo Poo Poo and Pee Pee Novelty company. Additionally he has done the cardboard sign company, novelties, clown school, a suite of prints about Houdini, and has two cartoon books in progress. Important one-man shows have been april fluff dreambook, Museum of Modern Art, New York City, 1971 and "coconut cooks dreambook, Albright Knox Gallery, Buffalo, New York. His works reside in many collections throughout the United States including the Museum of modern Art, New York. |
